National slip testing programs

One supplier for slip testing across your whole portfolio

Managing floors across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane usually means three testers, three report formats and nobody holding the register. Sliptest runs the whole program from one place, and because we are part of Premrest, a failed floor is quoted and fixed by the same company that found it.

Why portfolios end up with one supplier

Slip testing bought site by site produces a drawer of unrelated PDFs. Different technicians pick different spots, use different sliders and describe the same result in different words, so the national facilities manager cannot compare a Sydney foyer with a Brisbane one, cannot see which sites are trending down, and cannot answer an insurer's question about the portfolio without a week of collation. A single program fixes that at the source: one scope method, one instrument set, one report template and one register for every site.

What a Sliptest program includes

Scoping across the portfolio

We scope each site the same way, grouping locations by exposure: entries, ramps, stairs, wet areas and kitchens on the higher-frequency list, dry internal areas on the annual list. Locations are numbered and photographed so the same spot is tested at every round, in every city.

Scheduled rounds, coordinated nationally

One account contact schedules the rounds across all sites, works around trading hours and occupancy, and reminds site contacts ahead of each visit. Reports land in the same format from every city.

A maintained register

Results are held per site and per location, round by round. The register shows the class at each visit, any rectification between rounds and the retest that closed it. Sites sliding toward their threshold are flagged before they cross it, and the portfolio view is what you hand to the insurer, the auditor or the board.

Rectification by Premrest, retest by Sliptest

This is the part no independent tester can offer. When a location fails, Premrest quotes the fix, whether that is a change of cleaning chemistry, an anti-slip etching treatment for tile and stone, or a coating for vinyl, resin or concrete, and carries it out. Sliptest then retests and closes the item in the register. Test, quote, rectify, retest, all under one agreement and one point of accountability. See rectification by Premrest.

Pricing

Programs are priced per site per year after scoping, based on the number of locations and the frequency of each group. Multi-site portfolios are quoted under a single agreement. Single sites that do not need a program can still be priced and booked online.

What the program gives a national FM
  • One contact and one agreement for every site in every city
  • One report template, so results compare across the portfolio
  • A register per site and location, with trends and open items
  • Rectification quoted and delivered by Premrest when a floor fails
  • Retesting that closes each item with a dated before and after
  • A portfolio summary ready for insurers, auditors and boards

Questions

Program questions

Can one supplier really cover Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane?

Yes. Sliptest technicians operate in all three cities using the same instruments, the same procedure and the same report template, and every site in your program sits in one register with one account contact. Regional sites in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland are added to the program on request.

What happens when a floor in the program fails?

The report states the gap and ranks it. Because Sliptest is part of Premrest, a rectification quote follows from the same company: cleaning change, anti-slip treatment or coating, then a retest to close the item in the register. You can also take the recommendation to another contractor.

How is a program priced?

Per site per year, after a scoping visit or a desktop scope from your plans, based on the number of locations and how often each group is tested. Portfolios are quoted under one agreement.

Can we start with a few sites?

Yes. Many programs begin with the highest-exposure sites and grow as the register proves useful. Adding a site later is a scope change, not a new contract.
